CURRENT PROJECT:

The Good German - Based on the novel by Joseph Kanon, "The Good German" takes place in the ruins of post-World War II Berlin, where U.S. Army war correspondent Jake Geismar (GEORGE CLOONEY) becomes embroiled with Lena Brandt (CATE BLANCHETT), a former lover whose missing husband (CHRISTIAN OLIVER) is the object of a manhunt by both the American and Russian armies.

Intrigue mounts as Jake tries to uncover the secrets Lena may be hiding in her desperation to get herself and her husband out of Berlin.  Tully (TOBEY MAGUIRE), a soldier in the American army motor pool assigned to drive Jake around Berlin, has black market connections that may be Lena's way out - or lead them all into even darker territory.

Jake soon discovers that it is nearly impossible to unearth the truth in a time and place where people are still reeling from the horrors of the war, desperate to salvage their humanity in the shadow of the often unbearable knowledge of what they did to survive.

Mozart’s hilarious yet moving opera returns to Chicago after a decade-long absence.

Constanza, the fiancé of the young Spanish noble Belmonte, and two servants, Pedrillo and Blonda, have been abducted by pirates. The lord of a Turkish harem, Pasha Selim, has purchased the three Europeans and has fallen in love with the beautiful Constanza. Pedrillo has been installed as the Pasha's gardener, while his lover Blonda has been given as a gift to Osmin, the overseer of the harem.

CHANNEL G produces short documentaries and project presentations, for distribution on television, the internet, film festivals and other video outlets. Project presentations showcase environmental, social, and health-related projects from local and international nonprofit organizations.

A major component of Channel G's presentation is the invitation for viewers to participate through financial contributions to the projects they see.
